Darren Frisk (he/him):
Darren is a Team Manager, Behaviour Lead and Certified Sexual Health Educator through Options for Sexual Health BC. Darren has worked with posAbilities since 2009.
Working with teams within the agency, Darren saw a need for individuals with diverse abilities to have comprehensive sexual health education. He works with staff teams who support individuals with all aspects of their sexuality. In Darren’s free time, you will find him visiting with friends or watching something on Netflix.
Julie Lafontaine (she/her):
Julie has worked with posAbilities since 1992 and is a Behaviour Consultant and a Sexuality Educator. Julie truly enjoys meeting all the wonderful and unique individuals Julie has the pleasure supporting. She is looking forward to teaching inclusive and adapted sexual health education. When Julie isn’t working you will find her playing ice hockey, exploring Vancouver Island and watching the Canucks.
Rebecca Leckie (she/her):
Rebecca is a Team Leader with posAbilities and Sexual Health Educator Graduate through Options for Sexual Health BC. Rebecca has a Bachelor in Social Work with a Minor in American Sign Language. She has worked with posAbilities since 2015.
Rebecca recognizes the need for persons with disabilities and those who are d/Deaf or hard of hearing, to have access to sexual health education. In Rebecca’s spare time she enjoys hiking, spending time outdoors and reading.
Sherry Nassrin (she/her):
Sherry is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, Clinical Supervisor and Certified Sexual Health Educator through Options for Sexual Health BC. Sherry has completed her masters at UBC in Special Education and has been with posAbilities since 2013.
Sherry believes in inclusive sexual health education for everyone. She is passionate on educating a person’s support circle to foster healthy conversations around sexuality. In her spare time, she loves to explore new restaurants with friends and walk her dog.
Kelly Riccardi (he/him):
Victoria Sidorovich (she/her):
Victoria is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and Certified Sexual Health Educator through Options for Sexual Health BC. She has been working for posAbilities since 2016 and holds a Master’s degree in Psychology.
Victoria’s favourite part of working in the field is being able to share her knowledge to support families. She believes in building a respectful and supportive community by delivering inclusive and individualized sexual health education that meets the varying needs. When she is not working, you can find her exploring the Vancouver Island backcountry.
Louise Utting (she/her):
Louise is a Behaviour Consultant and Certified Sexual Health Educator through Options for Sexual Health BC. Louise has a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and a Master’s in Social Work (MSW).
Louise has been with posAbilities since 2015 and has enjoyed getting the opportunity to connect and collaborate with the community. When Louise is not working, she enjoys getting outside and spending time with her family.
Allison Worrin: (she/her)
Allison is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst and Sexuality Educator. Allison has completed her masters at UBC in Special Education and has been with posAbilities since 2017.
Allison is passionate about supporting adults with disabilities and the teams who support them. When she is not working she enjoys getting outside and spending time with her family.
